Responding to workplace concerns
CSB Avocats advises companies when harassment, discrimination or deteriorating working conditions are reported. The firm reviews the available facts, those involved and any measures to consider pending a full assessment.
The work aims to organise an appropriate response and document the steps taken. Reported allegations, verified information and outstanding questions are kept distinct.
Investigation and subsequent measures
Where conducting an investigation is included in the engagement, the firm prepares its scope, process and interviews. It reviews the records collected and presents findings while distinguishing consistent information, contradictions and the limits of the investigation.
Subsequent measures are assessed separately: prevention, organisational changes, disciplinary proceedings or litigation. The legal characterisation is not assumed before the facts have been examined.
Absence, return to work and medical unfitness
The firm also advises on sick leave, return to work, occupational health recommendations and medical unfitness procedures. It reviews the employer’s obligations and prepares the necessary documents and correspondence.
Decisions are assessed in light of the origin of the situation, relevant medical opinions and the applicable collective framework, without substituting legal analysis for medical assessment.
