Employer decisions
CSB Avocats advises French and international companies on individual and collective employment relations. Its work includes SMEs, growing businesses and group structures.
The practice covers the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, remuneration arrangements, working time, disciplinary proceedings, terminations and workplace health matters. Documents are prepared by reference to the established facts and the collective rules applicable to the company.
Executives and management teams
Executive recruitment and departures require a review of duties, contractual terms, any corporate offices and deferred or equity-related compensation. The firm prepares the timetable, employment documents and discussions with the executive’s legal adviser.
It also prepares talking points for the person responsible for the announcement and for the human resources team. These reflect the stage reached in the procedure and the information that may be communicated at that point.
Collective relations and business transformation
The firm advises on the operation of the social and economic committee (CSE), collective bargaining and reorganisations. It conducts employment due diligence and addresses the employment implications of acquisitions, disposals and mergers in coordination with the company’s other advisers.
Representation of corporate clients
Representing companies is a distinct part of the firm’s practice. It includes analysing opposing claims, preparing evidence and written submissions, negotiating with counsel and representing clients before employment courts.
