Procedures and sensitive situations
In disciplinary and termination matters, the firm examines the facts, supporting evidence, procedure and deadlines. It prepares the documents and discussions with the relevant parties.
Absence, return to work, performance concerns and workplace difficulties are assessed under their respective legal frameworks. The firm also prepares discussions with the employee’s adviser where negotiations are contemplated.
Consistency of practices
The firm may review the company’s templates and identify differences between documents and actual practice. Working time arrangements, variable pay and continuing restrictions are examined against the situations encountered by the business.
Collective issues are coordinated with employee relations and any applicable information or consultation procedures. The purpose is to support management decisions with explicit legal analysis and consistent documentation.
